Last Monday we had our annual FHE decorate-the-tree activity. The kids had buckets of fun pulling out the old ornaments and remembering all the ornaments they've received from years past. I give them ornaments every year for Christmas, and it's fun to hear them say, "Oh, I remember this ornament because....". Anyway, our tree is now overloaded with ornaments that are mostly centrally located on the tree--you know, right where the kids could reach to hang them. Talia keeps going in and rearranging all her favorites each day, and losing many of those wire hooks in the process. Besides the trees (we got a second and taller one this year),
we have all our other decorations up, and are feeling quite festive. Chris always makes fun of me because I have so much fun decorating for Christmas, and I must admit--I love it! There's nothing better than garland and ribbon everywhere and Christmas music playing in the background! This year, we cancelled our annual after-decorating tradition of chocolates because it's just too darn hard to find any without nuts or that haven't come in contact with any nuts. We opted instead for a new tradition of doughnuts and hot chocolate--a real hit with everyone. Chris even ate a doughnut, despite his resolve to lose 20 lbs right along with
Jen. So now we're officially decorated and in the holiday spirit--hope you all are enjoying the holidays too!

Sarah is quite the little poser in pictures! :) And Talley is looking so old!
What a darling family you two have, Chris and Alli!!! And what fun memories you're making and sharing with them...you will treasure them ALWAYS!!!
