Summer 2010--Talia turns 5!

Talia turned 5 in June, and requested one of the few things I truly hate--a Chuck E. Cheese party! So I subjected myself to a torturous afternoon of taking 12 girls to Chuck E. Cheese for 2 hours. I must thank my sis-in-law Erika for being a second driver and helping me out at the party. It truly would have been a nightmare without her! After the party Talia went to dance and then we had dinner, a family party, and opened presents. She requested her favorite food for dinner--corn on the cob.

Those of you who know Talia know that she is an absolute animal lover. She has been begging for a real dog for years, and would love ANY pet she could get. Well, she didn't get a real dog, but we tried to make it up to her by giving her some animals of the fake variety!

The only present of the non-animal kind: a Barbie scooter.

She wanted a castle cake, and I made a great one, but the whole thing completely fell apart about 30 min after I finished it. It was like the frosting melted, and the turrets of the castle went tumbling!
